St. Joseph Cathedral LED
Lighting Upgrade
Yahn Electric recently completed a total LED lighting upgrade at the St. Joseph Cathedral in Wheeling, WV. This was a very complex and delicate project which had to be completed in a short time frame. An elaborate scaffolding system had to be erected to reach all the various light fixtures in the Cathedral. Great care had to be taken around all the art work, flooring and statues not to damage anything. The new LED lights are fully dimmable with networked dimming racks and touchscreen scene controllers. The LED lights improved the overall lighting of the Cathedral and reduced the energy consumption by over 50%. Yahn Electric has completed multiple church lighting upgrade and retrofit projects all around the area. This work requires great precision, planning, and care.Oglebay Wilson Lodge
West Wing Renovations
We recently completed the electrical renovations at Oglebay Wilson Lodge West Wing working under Waller Corporation as the electrical sub- contractor. This was an electrical overhaul of all the rooms and hallways in the West Wing. We installed new wiring, devices, light fixtures, Fire Alarm and access control. The beautifully renovated rooms are now open.
Next Generation Owners
On January 1st 2017 Yahn Electric changed hands to the third generation of Yahn Family owners. Christopher Yahn, President, and Kurt Paulus, Vice President, take over ownership from Eddie Yahn and Gary Yahn. Eddie and Gary will continue to help support the business in the years to come but hand over the keys to Christopher and Kurt to drive the company into the future.
