Key Personnel: President: Christopher A. Yahn (co-owner): I grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia with a passion for electrical construction and technology at a very young age. After high school I moved to Columbus, Ohio and completed my B.S. in Electronics Engineering. I was hired by a Columbus based engineering firm and worked primarily in the industrial manufacturing sector as a control systems engineer and project manager for 10 years. Coming back to Wheeling to continue and grow the family business for a third generation was something I always wanted to do and I have a great love for this area and people that live here. We are fortunate to have the best electricians in the valley working for us and a strong family support system. Growing up, my father has instilled in me many very important traits that stay with me today. One that I heard over and over was, “Chris, use quality materials and install it right the first time!” For two generations our family has made Yahn Electric a leader in the Ohio Valley following these basic beliefs. We will continue to lead Yahn Electric following those basic core principles and expand our business into current and future high tech electrical markets. Vice President: Kurt W. Paulus (co-owner): I grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia and joined Yahn Electric in 2003. I am a licensed Master Electrician in the state of West Virginia and serve as a board member on the OVCEC and member of NECA. My work in the field has proven invaluable to my new role. Over the last 13 years I have worked on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites. My experience includes working with various construction trades, engineers, and architects. I pride myself in my ability to foster customer relationships and ensure projects are completed to our company’s professional and quality standards. I specialize in electrical estimation, project management, and customer relations. I am excited by the unique opportunity to lead a third generation family owned and operated business.
